Hakoah Ramat Gan owner Gal Yosef suspected of involvement in Bitan affair
Owner of the Hakoah Ramat Gan soccer club Gal Yosef was questioned as part of the corruption affair involving MK David Bitan.
Yosef was questioned on checks given to him by Bitan a decade ago, after the latter was embroiled with loan sharks. Yosef was freed on monetary bail.
"There is no basis to the suspicion any criminal wrongdoing took place," his lawyers said. Police raided the soccer club's offices Tuesday.
