Violent disturbances have developed in recent hours in about 20 locations in the West Bank and along the Gaza border, the IDF spokesman said.
In the West Bank, some 600 Palestinians were burning tires, throwing Molotov cocktails and throwing stones at Israeli security forces.
Among the protesters are MK Ahmad Tibi and former Knesset member Osama al-Sa'adi.
So far, one rioter has been arrested and three were lightly injured.
In the Gaza Strip, some 450 Palestinians are demonstrating at eight locations along the security fence in the same manner.
