Palestinian Authority: 'No changes in Jerusalem borders will be accepted'
Sources close to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas attacked the United States over statements made by White House officials saying the US cannot imagine a situation under which the Western Wall will not be part of Israel.
"We will not accept any changes to east Jerusalem's 1967 borders. The American position once again makes clear the current American administration is completely out of the peace process," sources close to Abbas said.
The Palestinian leadership is expected to convene in Ramallah Monday in light of recent events and Vice President Mike Pence's expected visit to Israel later in the week.
