Netanyahu: Majority of police recommendations trashed
Referencing the ongoing investigation, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the left Tuesday evening saying: "Since they cannot defeat me at the polls they are trying to defeat me through demonstrations funded by the leftist New Israel Fund. In a few months, when the truth comes to light, it will be revealed that this is an organized witch hunt… the citizens know better and understand that the Likud will triumph"
Netanyahu spoke before hundreds of Likud activists at Kfar Hamaccabiah adding: "More than 60% of police investigations end without anything. Most never become indictments and are thrown out."
