Zehava Gal-On petitions Supreme Court against Supermarket Law

Chairwoman of the Meretz Party Zehava Gal-On petitioned the Supreme Court for an injunction against implementing the just-passed Supermarkets Law.
In the petition, Gal-On asserts that that "The law disproportionately infringes on the basic rights of Israeli citizens to liberty, freedom of, and from, religion and allows for a religious minister to force his views on the nation as a whole."
