Feminist organizations to PM Netanyahu: unequivocally denounce son's words
Ten feminist organizations contacted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the wake of the release of his son's Yair recording, in which he degraded women.
"It's inconceivable for the statements uttered to be classified as 'trifles' spoken under the influence of alcohol," their appeal said. "We expect our prime minister to clearly announce his son's words and actions are grave and prohibited, that women are not a consumer product but people and that he—as prime minister—will do everything in his power to root out human trafficking."
