School principals write PM Netanyahu against migrant deportation
51 school principals sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Education Minister Naftali Bennett against the deportation of African asylum seekers.
"We, entrusted with educating children of all ages and teaching the moral and constitutional foundations on which the Israeli state rests, call on you to halt deportation of Eritrean and Sudanese asylum seekers to countries where they are expected to undergo torture, suffering and death," the letter said.
