Police holds confrontation between Netanyahu's former media adviser, Walla! CEO
The police held a confrontation Wednesday between former media adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Nir Hefetz and chief executive officer (CEO) of Walla! Communications Channels Ltd. Ilan Yeshua in the framework of the investigation into the Bezeq affair (Case 4000).
Suspects in the case are alleged to have either given or received bribes, in a quid pro quo relationship involving actions that benefited Bezeq and Walla! News—a news site owned by telecommunications giant Bezeq—in return for flattering coverage of Netanyahu and his family.
