Filber's state's witness deal details revealed
The details of the State's witness agreement signed by the suspended director general of the Ministry of Communications, Shlomo Filber, as part of the Bezeq affair (Case 4000) have been revealed.
Filber will not be criminally prosecuted, but will undergo disciplinary trial; He will be removed from the civil service and will not be fined.
Filber was accused of conspiring with Bezeq officials for more favorable coverage about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family on a news website the company owns.
Filber has stated he was "manipulated," and denied ever giving or receiving bribes.
