Lieberman confers with Rwandan president: 'Relations between countries stronger than ever'
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman visited Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, and conferred with the country's president Paul Kagame, Defense Minister James Kabarebe and Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo.
Lieberman is the first Israeli defense minister to visit the central African country's capital.
In his meeting with Kagame, he said, "I'm proud to be the first defense minister to visit your capital; relations between our two countries are stronger and deeper than ever."
