Palestinian criminal who escaped psychiatric hospital turns himself in
Ahmad Daraghmeh, a violent Palestinian detainee who escaped Lev Hasharon Mental Health Medical Center, turned himself over to the authorities at the Jalamah checkpoint on Wednesday morning.
Daraghmeh, who faces armed robbery charges, escaped the closed ward on Saturday. He was taken outside for a walk when he took the opportunity to escape from the medical personnel accompanying him. The police launched a manhunt in search of him.
