Eizenkot: IDF'S efforts to prevent Iran from establishing a military presence on the border led to Israeli accomplishments

On the eve of the annual Honorary Ceremony of "Adopt a combat fighter” campaign in Tel Aviv, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eizenkot said that the IDF had concentrated its efforts in the past year on preventing Iran from establishing a military presence on the northern border.

The IDF's efforts, according to Eizenkot, "resulted in many operational achievements, mostly hidden from view."

Eizenkot added that the IDF will continue to strengthen its deterrence, and be prepared to any scenario, in order to allow the country to "develop and thrive in safety."
