Cabinet to wait till weekend before deciding response to Gaza events

The Security cabinet convened Sunday for four hours following threats by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman regarding toughening Israel’s response to the violent events in Gaza. Before deciding on a response, the cabinet concluded to wait until the weekend to see if there is any progress on UN and Egyptian mediated talks.
