Alsheikh: significant cut to Arab sector's budget

Police Commssioner Roni Alsheikh announced Tuesday a cut "of hundreds of millions shekels in the budget allocated to programs dealing with the Arab sector."

At a meeting of the State Control Committee, which deals with the police's handling of illegal weapons and shooting incidents in Arab communities, Alsheikh added that he is "concerned with the future in terms of budgeting. Besides this program, the Arab sector program is the largest in terms of resources."
