IDF officer killed during fire exchanges in Gaza
An IDF officer was killed and another was moderately wounded during an IDF special force operation in the Gaza Strip after fire exchanges developed between the force and Palestinian terrorists.
The wounded officer was evacuated to receive medical treatment in the Soroka University Medical Center in Be’er Sheva.
The Palestinians said seven people were killed by IDF fire, among them Nur Barakeh, Hamas's military wing brigade commander.
