Council for Higher Education approves establishment of medical school in Ariel
The Council for Higher Education voted Wednesday to unanimously approve the establishment of a medical school at a university in the West Bank settlement of Ariel.
Education Minister and Chairman of the Council for Higher Education, Naftali Bennett hailed the decision, saying there is a “severe shortage of doctors in Israel, and there is a need to establish this faculty. It’s the right thing for academia, the medical world and the general public.”
