IDF prosecutor: Hague has no jurisdiction over Israeli-Palestinian conflict

The International Criminal Court has no jurisdiction when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, IDF Chief Military Advocate General  Sharon Afek said Tuesday.

Speaking at a conference in Herzliya on the IDF's laws of war, Afek said that Israel has a strong and independent judiciary, and cited a recent High Court ruling on IDF actions in Gaza as an example of its ability to rule on matters of national security.
