Likud MK Miki Zohar says cancelling the second elections of the year would prevent an "unnecessary" situation created by Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman's coalition demands.
"We wanted to prevent these elections even before the Knesset was dissolved," Zohar tells Ynet. "After the dissolution of the Knesset we made, and will continue to make, every effort to prevent these unnecessary elections, which are down to Lieberman and his vague stubbornness."
