Baghdad security official says Israel or U.S. behind blast in Shiite militia weapons facility
The Asharq al-Awsat London newspaper cited Wednesday an unnamed Iraqi security official saying that Israel or the U.S. could be behind the Monday Baghdad blast in a Shiite militia weapons storage house.
According to the source, Israel, the U.S., Iran and its proxies "chose Iraq as an undeclared war theater," adding that "signs show that Israel is continuing what it started in Syria, possibly with American support, and attacks Iranian facilities."
