Indictment filed in Israeli court against Hamas member from Gaza Strip
The state prosecutor filed an indictment against a Hamas member, Mohammed Bardawil, who was recruited to the terror organization after returning to the Gaza Strip with the end of his sentence in Israeli prison.
Bardawil served a prison sentence after being convicted of smuggling explosives from the Sinai Peninsula into the Gaza Strip by sea.
According to the indictment, Bardawil joined Hamas' police force in Gaza. Bardawil worked as a guard at a hospital in Rafah next to Israeli border and used to pass on information about unusual events to the terrorist organization.
