According to Iraqi news reports, the Iraqi intelligence services helped locate Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who died in Syria's northwestern Idlib province on Saturday night.

 

Earlier on Sunday, a senior official at the Pentagon confirmed in an interview on the Alhurra tv network that al-Baghdadi blew himself up using an explosive belt during a special operation against a concentration of ISIS personal.
