70-year-old Jewish man attacked in Berlin
A 70-year-old Jewish man was attacked in Berlin on Tuesday by unknown assailants in a suspected anti-Semitic assault, reports German news outlet Bild.
According to reports, the man sustained blows to his head and chin before being rescued by a passerby.
Berlin Mayor Michael Mueller condemned the attack.
"Regarding our history, these sorts of events should not be allowed. They will never be normalized," said Mueller.
