New law requires Bar Association provide legal aid to needy
The Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee passed on second and third readings a bill requiring the Israel Bar Association to provide legal aid to poor people. The bill, proposed by Knesset Member Yariv Levin (Likud) and the Bar Association, was approved on the international day for the war on poverty. (Attila Somfalvi)
