Ynet (Yaakov Lappin) actually turns the camera on "news journalism" filled with extreme bias, and illustrates by focussing on stories that are not covered. Of course, this would be in reference to an Iraeli non-Jew. However, it's interesting that the Bedouin murders would be ignored because they do not fit into the Jew-as-aggressor narrative. I usuallly think that journalists are the near the bottom of the intellectual junk heap, just above humanities professors, but I give credit were it is due.

I have been to Israel twice on business. I have made friends there. I am very pro-Israel and always will be. I was always treated cordially and with profound respect by everyone I met and I am only a lowly engineer. However, the comments about the USA knowing about the camps during WWII and doing nothing about it is totally outrageous. Sorry! You can find a map of “strikes and bombings” but only for Gaza. You can find a photo essay titled “Lebanon Erupts” with such terms as “Lebanon Crisis” & “Lebanon Exodus” but nothing of the damage, destruction and death in Israel. ABC offers one line about Fadia Jumaa and her two daughters buried inside another article. Their Middle East Conflict page pushes Lebanese children and refugees, with tidbits thrown in here and there about Israel. MSNBC’s Middle East coverage is criticism of Israel’s Lebanon strategy, America’s support for Israel, an article stating “Israeli public still backs invasion” as though they shouldn’t, and one ridiculous piece declaring “Demonizing Iran serves little purpose”. FoxNews seems the only Western source that pretty fairly covers both sides and has no qualms about showing what Iran’s involvement is in this war.
