Prime Minister Harper is IGNORANT of the real situation in Palestine. If he realized that the Palestinians are like the Indians who fought for their survival against the English colonialists, he MIGHT understand the situation a bit better, namely, that Israelis are brutally occupying Palestinian land and the Palestinians are RESISTING. However, Stephen Harper is an evangelical Christian and as a member of the Alliance Church I believe he supports Israel for Biblical reasons. Although Israel's original establishment was "illegal and immoral," they do have the right to exist, but so do the Palestinians. It's unfortunate that the Palestinians aren't able to wage a PR campaign the way the Israelis can afford to do.

Pity for him. But saying that the Palestinians deserve a fair and just future ( that is certainly true: they do deserve fair justice! She is not motivated by any desire to bring "justice" to the "oppressed" Palestinians, rather by her imbued hatred for the Jewish people, which she now extends to Israel.
