31. About time Israel withdraws - COMPLETELY...
Saad ,   Nablus   (12.02.06)
For the sake of a Palestinian viable contiguous state - and Israel's own short/long term survival.
32. Good work but Palestinians & Lebanese keep the pressure !!!!
Dark Justice ,   fighting occupation   (12.02.06)
"Terror" is getting results. Its the only language that Israel understands. Dont ever stop fighting those illegal occupiers. Only by Force you will get back your stolen land. May God bless Palestinians, Lebanese and Syrians!!!
33. to #27
(12.02.06)
And not to forget New Mexico and California taken from Mexico, 1/3 of Poland taken by Russia, and so on throughout the world. But the others are not Jews, so it's O.K. and nobody complains
34. to #1
(12.02.06)
Where were you when Egypt occupied Gaza? When Jordan occupied the West Bank? Silent like a fish, You hypocrit!!!
35. You can keep passing your resolutions from New York
(12.02.06)
And meanwhile we will sit in Israel and ignore you. Everyone knowns that Israel would not be able to defend itself from the 67 borders, but I guess that's what you want, isn't it?
36. #2 NATO support?
Metatron   (12.02.06)
Did the NATO countries vote against the resolutions? No. At least the Marshall Islanders are not anti-semitic! Why aren't they in NATO instead of these European jerks?
37. Brahim -Brother Fares prefers Green Card to Green Flag
Alan ,   SA   (12.02.06)
38. Eban used to say "UN can get 160 votes that Earth is flat"
Alan ,   SA   (12.02.06)
39. They are not binding, right?
Suzanne   (12.02.06)
40. Peace Now and settlements
Suzanne   (12.02.06)
According to Peace Now 60% of the settlements on the west bank are legitimate (yea, the other side of the coin of that report). What do these resolutions do against that?
41. #17 homicidal Hamites
(12.02.06)
there is no hamites in israel and perhaps in the whole ME. do you have them in diaspora. perhapse only in your dreams, bacause these homocidal ones have never been known. Sorry, I''ve forgotten all about your complex semitic psychology.
42. #25 Yes I've pity on those cowards abestainees
observer   (12.02.06)
they couldn't say no, because if the they did so they could have been damned racists. They only couldn't afford saying no !
43. Exchange East Jerusalem for the right of return
prophet   (12.02.06)
Those who want Israel to keep sovereignty over East Jerusalem and those who want Palestinian refugees to return to Israel are living in a dangerous delusion. If this delusion prevails it will soon push out of control the destructive dynamic in the Middle East as a whole. This is an archetypal conflict between the Western analytical individualism and the Eastern holistic collectivism. The solution lies in a peaceful, constructive integration of these two perspectives. Continuing attempts by either perspective to deny the other will end up in a nuclear holocaust.
44. the palestinians aren't a nation, this is ridiculous
(12.02.06)
45. THE UN SUPPORTS TERRORISTS!!!! ISRAEL WE SUPPORT YOU.
(12.02.06)
46. UN jokes
JH ,   US   (12.02.06)
First of all, I would not mind living in those beautiful Pacific Islands. Just suppose Israel withdrew to the 1967 borders, you all think the bombings and terror against Israel would stop? Heck no. What is next for the UN, pressure the US to return Texas, New Mexico Arizona back to Mexico? or to Spain?
47. #35 Israel would not be able to defend itself from the
(12.02.06)
the 2067 border, either. Because it would have Iran abutting it on the east and California on the west ! forget to say, nowadays expanses of lands do not protect !
48. We will never give up the land WE won in wars THEY started!
Chinese Camel ,   China   (12.02.06)
Keep dreaming UM SHMUM(UN) !
49. Re; #33 on my #27
N ,   UK   (12.02.06)
Indeed. That's why Israel should have it very clear by now and not to be afraid of highlight those issues, includding the Saharawi and Kurdistani rights to national selfdetermination -particularly when both Saharawis and Kurds are a nation well before that the Arabs living in those parts of the Ottoman Empire were called Palestine by the League of Nations. I could be wrong, though, and I'm sure some Palestinian might be there with pictures of their grandfathers sippong mint tea with the King of Palestine in the ancient Arab city of Tell Habibi...
50. What Penalties Are Proposed For Terrorists
emanon ,   USA   (12.02.06)
that violate the agreement . . . if Israel even agrees to it? Rememebr Gaza? Israel was told by the terrorists "Give us Gaza and we will stop the attacks". Well, the terrorists got Gaza, Israel got Displaced Citizens and the terror did not stop. Do you think this will be any different? IT IS NOT ABOUT LAND! IT IS ABOUT MILITANT ISLAMIC WORLD DOMINATION. All the nations that voted *in favor* of this resolution: Watch Out. Your countries will be next. You will need to reform you governments according to rigid Islamic law or face the consequences. You will become more pieces of a bigger and more frightening Terroistan. That is the goal.
51. #1, world IS anti-semitic and have proven it throughout time
David ,   Boston, USA   (12.02.06)
Good news, we Jews have outlived all of our enemies and will continue to. Better news, Palestinian experiment is coming to an end. Two states, Israel and Jordan Palestine, not 3. Best news, we will never allow Arabs to occupy Jewish holy city of Jerusalem again and eventually Temple Mount will be liberated of Muslim desecration.
52. End, Palestine 2 experiment = Peace
David ,   Boston, USA   (12.02.06)
World has failed by continuing to try to create a country that doesnt belong, Palestine, while Arab Palestine is Jordan. There is no need or justification for a second one. Two states, Israel and Jordan Palestine. I really believe the Arab world is crumbling and scared. Eurabia is scared. China and Russia just want to sell more arms and export other thing. There is real fear in the Arab world that the dicators who have ruled these made up countries are finally starting to lose control. Which of these countries will survive? Who cares. Israel was there first and will be there after to make peace with whatever arabs are left.
53. To Saad of Shechem.
N ,   UK   (12.02.06)
Were you people asking for a Palestinian state that included Gaza and what the Jordanian occupiers called "West Bank", or back then "Palestinians" had only one aim: to destroy the Jewish state and send the Jews to the sea? BTW, are you Arab? Shechem is a long way from home, Arabia.
54. Shocking news
enzo ,   london,uk   (12.02.06)
That's what it is! The UN, once again, proves that it has been hijiacked by muslims. What's next? Withdraw to Babylon?
55. This is very alarming!
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (12.02.06)
While many in here like to mock the UN or other nations who supported those 6 resolutions against Israel I see this as an alarming message to Israel that if not addresses soon, we all might be in danger! It is nice to see our friends at the US be along side with us all the time but we must not forget that they might not always be on our side! We should know why the majority of the world do not share our side of the conflict and why do we almost always lose world support for the US support? Is it Anti Semitism or is the world blind dislike of the US? I think it is time for us to start thinking of how to seriously fix the problem with the Palestinians rather than complain of the other side incompetence!
56. #5
(12.02.06)
The UN stink only because the shitty ass John Bolton is there. Why are you asking Israel to present to the west world alternative to oil ? Why don't you present it yourself instead of just sitting on your big ass !
57. #13
(12.02.06)
your problem is that you are ignorant and you don't know the facts. I am sure if you educate yourself and learn all the facts, you will change your mind.
58. UM - SHMUM Bunch of beggars.
Dr Doolittle ,   Neverland   (12.02.06)
59. # 55
Elisheva B. ,   U.S.   (12.02.06)
the u.s. is no friend to the jew, the majority of people here watch a pro-arab anti-jewish channel called CNN. hence, the country is largely pro-arab. if let's say iran started fly overs and dropping missiles, do not think for one moment that america would send it's troops to israel to back up the jews. they wouldn't. why? because america is too worried about offending it's "moderate arab allies".
60. MECCA IS HOLY TO MUSLIMS; JERUSALEM IS HOLY TO THE JEWS
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (12.02.06)
There NEVER was an Arab country of Palestine. Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. In all of recorded history, Jews are the only people who ever made Israel their nation. Jews had dominion over Israel for 1,000 years with a continuous Jewish presence for 4,000 years. At the time of Muhammad's death, there was not a single mosque in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is mentioned 766 times in the Jewish Bible, not once in the Koran. Muslims pray facing Mecca. It is Muslim practice to take over, desecrate and destroy the holy sites of other religions-Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, et al. Muslims build mosques on top of the holy sites of other religions to signify that their religion is superior to all others. Muslims did this on the Temple Mount. During Jordan's illegal occupation of Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem from 1948-1967, Jordan never sought to make Jerusalem their capital and no foreign Arab leaders visited Jerusalem. Jordanian radio broadcast Friday prayers not from Al-Aqsa Mosque, but from a mosque in Amman. Jordan destroyed 58 sacred synagogues in Jerusalem. Jordan's army desecrated the 2,500 year old Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives and used Jewish tombstones for pavement and latrines. All land, homes and buildings seized in the 1948 Islamic invasion of Judea, Samaria, Gaza and east Jerusalem must be returned to Jews immediately. 13th Century Arab biographer Yakut, noted: "Mecca is holy to Muslims; Jerusalem is holy to the Jews"
