yes, gaza was "occupied" by israel in 1967. and in those 40 years of "brutal occupation", which you obviously don't remember, gazans had access to jobs in israel, as well as to israeli hospitals. this wasn't stopped by israel, but by the "intifada", and your brave "suicide murderers". now, you can enjoy the freedom of occupation by hamas, instead. and you will be needing much more medical care, because qassams and propaganda won't separate your sewage from your drinking water.

This means it is subject to international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Conventions, which insist that an occupying power has the responsibility to protect the population under occupation. So it is obvious that it is Israels' responsibility to allow a Cancer patient the right to leave for treatment.
