Are how to keep the computers available only to the students and university personnel(when I was in University in the US I had an account with a password and when my account was used up, that was it,--anybody couldn't just wander in and use the computers. They DO cost money to operate BTW) and the fact that ANYONE can wander around on the campus whether they should be there or not. A major security issue from the points of view of crime and terrorism. The other stuff is a problem, but basically is being reported because it sells newspapers, not to address it.

The issue that matters here is security for the students at institutions and how people gain access to these institutions. The rest is lurid and frankly not very interesting.
