Obama is leading the way to try and find a solution to ME problems, of which Israel/PA a key part of problem. Obama want to try and give peace talks a chance but both sides putting up roadblocks. For the PA what good are talks if you gain little in the end or for Israel to win every battle but to lose most of its gains. For peace to have a chance both borders and refugees/settlers issues must be addressed. Israel will keep main settlement blocks about 7% with land swap, then refugees resettled in some of the ex-Jewish settlements to get them out of the camps. Talks are needed for security, water and resources but are almost worthless for settling borders or refugees issues. The British causes most the problems it the ME after WW1 by drawing borders on a map with little regard for the people living there. The Kurds are a good example of this and Iraq over all for that matter.
