1. shame, we're becoming like the palestinians of the 90s
Yaron ,   haifa, israel   (06.11.10)
there's a role reversal going on these past few years, this is just another example.
2. And you thought Helen Thomas was bad.
lara ,   Australia   (06.11.10)
3. Incitement!
David ,   Jerusalem   (06.11.10)
Those involved should be arrested for incitement! This goes beyond bad taste.
4. neither patriotism nor bad taste
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (06.11.10)
Israel is a free country and people are allowed to express their opinions if they do not hurt others. Last Saturday, Knesset members and supporters of Meretz and Hadash held a protest where they supported Hamas and condemned the IDF commandos. No one asked if this was bad taste or support for the kidnappers of Gilad Shalit.
5. The friends of our enemies are our.....
Eliyahu Konn ,   Yrushalayim   (06.11.10)
enemies. The world that justifies the terrorist blockade (would-be) breakers is more twisted than the driver of this transport.
BENJAMIN ,   SINGAPORE   (06.11.10)
7. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.11.10)
How easy for you to comment, living safely away down under. Twelve thousand missiles have been fired into Israel from Gaza over an eight-year period. Post-traumatic stress disorder is a very real thing. In the north, prior to Israel's incursion into Lebanon in 2006, Jewish children in the northern towns lived, studied, ate and played in concrete bomb shelters for months at a time. You know not of what you speak, Lara. Wouldn't you be much happier on the Al Jazeera website? Just think -- you would be able to engage in your rabid anti-Semitism and indulge your hatred for Israel all you want.
8. #4 Howcome its not freedom of speech when we express
Mark ,   Netherlands   (06.11.10)
Our selves in regards to the jews?? As you know, there are strict laws in Europe for that matter. Isn't that categorized as freedom of speech?
9. Hitler posters were all over the turkish rallies
jason ,   haifa israel   (06.11.10)
So these people are crazy while massive photos of hitler in turkey. This paper with the biden incident and now this is taking their anti bibi posture to new levels and hurting the state big time.
10. maintain calm
Turkish Jew ,   Istanbul Turkey   (06.11.10)
This is definitely not a good development. The turkish media is looking for these kind of sansational news which serve another opportunity to demonize Israel and the Jews. After all, this also contradicts against the principles of Judaism. We should sanctify life instead of glorifying death. This is only Hillul H-m they are doing ! We have set good examples among the nations Shabbat Shalom !
11. Not a good thing to do at the moment
Chaya ,   Bat Yam   (06.11.10)
12. Ynet assists enemies of Israel.
Michael   (06.11.10)
One civilian bus-driver hangs some inappropriate sign on his bus which is quickly removed because others are uncomfortable with it and yet ynet has to air this small event to the world? What are they trying to do - be researches for anti-Israel protesters that will jump with glee on an act of any individual and use it to make broad conclusions regarding all Israelis and Jews? If so, they're doing a good job.
13. Mavi Marmara should have been sunk. Period.
avraham ,   nyc   (06.11.10)
14. Erdogan said swastika and star of david equal media silent
derek ,   jerusalem israel   (06.11.10)
Media said nothing when erdogan the hero of the arab world said the star of david and the swastika are the same yet focuses on a bus driver. I give up. I truly give up. I can't take the hypocrisy. Between the media, international policital leaders, islamists, jihadi peace activists it is just all too much.
15.  I AGREE!
OZ   (06.11.10)
16. come on Mark, you're
christian berger ,   switzerland   (06.11.10)
smarter than your stupid question, aren't you...
17. I agree...
David K from Philly ,   Philly   (06.11.10)
...with the driver. Just because it's distasteful to think oneself is capable of bloodlust, doesn't mean it doesn't exist and should be denied. Israelis need to stop thinking of themselves as better than everyone else. The UN and the world already holds Israel to double standards - you don't need to help them. If these people on the flotilla were looking for blood - and they were - they should be thankful Israel didn't just torpedo the whole boat and call it a day.
18. either year quota fulfilled or doctored audio not convincing
observer   (06.11.10)
Israel has killed almost 1000 innocent civilians per year for the last 10 years. Israeli army has such a long history of lies and whitewashes, why anyone is surprised that they released a doctored audio.
19. its disrespectful to shaytet 13 so it should come down
zionist forever   (06.11.10)
Considering the world has treated us over this and the fact Turkey has sided with our enemies its not in bad taste. On the other hand it doesn't help Israel or the IDF improve their image. Most importantly though is Shaytet 13 are professionals who don't kill for sport so this sign is a disrespectful to them because it makes them look like hired guns. True feelings should be saved for the base or private homes.
20. please please cal "goldstone "

22. to #18
yee&haa ,   EU   (06.11.10)
Dang, i accidentally recommended that guy-.- To #18: You sure have a prove for your uttering. And you surely know, why on earth this controversial tape is of any importance, at all. It's not, that the boat-people have not been warned, now isn't it?`
23. bus driver is right - the ship should have been sunk once...
tomer ,   herzeliyya   (06.11.10)
they were in israeli waters. once you join our enemy, you become our enemy! Feiglin for PM
24. To: Turkish Jew at No. 10
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.11.10)
"We" meaning Jews, I trust. Turkey certainly hasn't set a good example. Just ask the Armenians and the Kurds. I don't think you should cower in a corner. I don't think you should worry about what may or may not inflame Moslem Turks. There is a great deal that can be said about Turkey's treatment of the Kurdish people that will serve to underscore the sheer hypocrisy of the Turks. Maybe Israel should do a television program about it. It is time to stand up and be counted.
25. # 2
Birdi ,   Israel   (06.11.10)
Lara because your parents were made to suffer etc by having to leave Israel, as you have told us, you feel its your right to write your hateful posts here. Each & every talkback that you post here proves to us that you dont have the vaguest idea of the real situation in Israel. The IDF could have boarded the boat with the intent to kill every human being on the boat. Instead our brave soldiers were beaten up by the activisist whose intent was to kill & cause havoc The IDF could have bombed or sunk that boat out of the water, they did'nt. Heeln Thomas is not bad, she is a stupid old woman who had nothing to loose by saying what she said.
26. one more death so the killed citizens are 10
VOLKAN ,   ─░STANBUL   (06.11.10)
According to news one Turkish injured citizen in hospital got brain death. So the number of death people are not 9 it is 10... We will never forget this.In our history for the first time a foreign country killed our citizens like this way.
27. # 18 Observer
Maureen   (06.11.10)
Why all the bullshit Observer. Get a grip on life. Next you will be telling the Jews to throw away their weapons. You're a joker with a lousy sense of humour!
28. #4 bad taste?
Lisa   (06.11.10)
interesting point- if people are allowed to voice their opinion, why is it bad taste to criticize Israel? Of course that is called anti-semitism?
29. Sorry to say, but those people are sick to the bone.......
Swiss-Dino ,   Switzerland   (06.11.10)
They aren't only besmirching Israels reputation, but also the one of the Jewish people and the Jewish religion......
30. Incitement and bad taste
israeli   (06.11.10)
