Male or female, they are given a Hebrew name (Shmuel, Miriam, whatever) that ends with "ben Avraham" (son of Abraham) in the case of men, and "bat Avraham", (daughter of Abraham) in the case of women. Converts are the "adopted children" of Abraham, and therefore covered by the promise in Genesis 12:1-2. More than likely, you are associating all "Christians" with Catholicism, judging from your reference to pictures and little statues. Catholicism went off on a pagan tangent a very long time ago. It is hard to see Yeshua in the Tanuch if all you listen to first is those who tell you He is not there, then you do everything you can to not see Him.
