eporue ,   europe   (09.10.11)
israeli embassy era... this was a huge success: there were at the last door, and your guys fled head over heals... if they hadnt have massive US support, they would have gotten you last night... so, big success... next are london, france, spain... etc etc... those countries will have to have their army showing up... i dont know what it will be called, probably not "spring", but its pretty much the same... thanks to your idiots in the government... ... number #6 posting is OUTSTANDING !
62. This is Expected
Khaled ,   Egypt   (09.10.11)
What do you think would happen if Israeli troops kills Egyptian soldiers?? This is the least thing to do, so far.
63. To #34 can't he be both?
John ,   Alaska   (09.10.11)
Or do Egyptians only have freedom of religion if they are not Evangelical?
64. The Embassy wasn't the problem
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (09.10.11)
It is just a distraction from the real problems the people have 1) Revolution left them no better of than they were before 2) Half the populace is living on $2 a day 3) Many can't afford housing; they're forced to live in cemeteries among the living The new Government is no better than Mubarak’s, it's an old ploy, blame someone else for your own problems, The people think they have power, they don't, and they’re merely puppets who are having their strings pulled Every totalitarian regime in history has use this type of diversion Ask yourself a few questions; will be the people be any better off after they’ve vented their spleen? Anymore food on the table ? Will those living in cemeteries be moving into new, affordable housing tomorrow? Will the women now equal rights with their male Lords & Masters, or just be treated as crap as they have always been ? IF, you can answer YES to any of the questions, then it was worthwhile trying to destroy the Embassy, if NOT, you’re just a bunch of fools that have been diverted from the miserable conditions you’re living under Power to the people, don't make me laugh, you're pathetic fools if you think so
65. You've all heard of King Midas' touch ?
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (09.10.11)
Legend has it that whatever he touched, turned to gold Nowadays, we have the Obama touch, whatever he touches or interferes in, turns to Chaos & Crap 1) Obama instigated the Egyptian Revolution; people are as bad off now as they were before 2) Next was the Libyan Revolution, driving a screwy dictator, the devil we know, for who knows what? U.S. Intelligence (what a misnomer) doesn't know who the new people are 3) Syria, first the U.S. backed Assad, they the made a 180 degree about face and want him out and away Under Obama the American Economy is in dire straits, Unemployment is 17% Rest assured if Obama puts his hand to it, it will be a disaster

Shocked   (09.10.11)
Jarda, as usual you miss the mark...not just by an inch but by a mile... Past German nationalism certainly had a lot to do with Jews fleeing from Nazi annihilation. However, current events such as the latest disaster in Cairo are directly attributable to BHO & Co. for their relentless positive promotion of "current event" Islamism at the dire expense of genuine progress (e.g. democracy, equality, peace etc.). Aspirations towards political equilibrium is/are quite quite different than mob rule/incitement to destruction now being witnessed in Egypt.
69. to #37
selwin ,   London   (09.10.11)
and what you will do when Al-Queida together with the Muslim Brotherhood , will come to kill you , because you are not MUSLIM enough for them ? That's exactly what is happening in Paquistan , Iraq , etc etc etc .... Long life to your new democracy .....
70. Moubarek and his men are behind it
Emad   (09.10.11)
They want to spoil the trial against Moubarak and his sons by making a mess in the country hoping to rull the country again but in the same time Israel should be more carful with what they are doing like what happend on the border with killing Egyptian soldiers and it was not the first time Moubarak who put the head of the Egyptians down is not there anymore and the Egyptians will not axept such actions anymore so if you want the the peace between both countries stays you should behave better and show the Egyptians that you realy want peace , Egypt and Turky are not that easy countries both are strong enough political and millitirial .. we are not anymore in 1967 this time is over ... so let's be calm and try control our actions

73. "peace"? "hope"? I can't see anything of that in Egypt!
Alyson ,   CA, USA   (09.10.11)
74. ha ha ...poor, poor ambassador.
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.10.11)
75. Harvest time
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.10.11)
For 30 years, Mubarak incited hatred against Israel amongst the Egyptians and supported the Fatah terror organization instead of supporting peace, leaving his people starving and with no future. Now, the only desire of the Egyptian people is to start a war with Israel, no matter what the cost,

(09.10.11)
Don't BS. Some Egyptian soldiers joined the Hamas to attack Israeli civilians inside Israel. In the same event, Hamas also killed some Egyptian soldiers. Strange that you now invite Hamas to Cairo.
77. bon voyage!!!
Chris ,   beirut   (09.10.11)
bon voyage hahaha

tiki ,   belgium   (09.10.11)
"Anti Israel/Zionist feeling amongst the Interlectuals & journalists for the worse treatments of "Palestinians" since Sharon". Your interlect must be of the same level as the storming savages. **Egyptian "intelligentia & journalists were 'against Peace with Israel from day one. **Why did Egypt start all the wars with Israel? This had nothing to do with the 'fate of Arab Palestinians, had everything to do with a belligerent, Anti Peace, primitive mindset of Egyptians, Arabs, Muslims who don't like their Jewish neighbour. Nothing has changed. They still are the same belligerent, Anti Peace primitiv savages. HATERS for the sake of HATE. The Peace may be gone, but Egypt still has the 'little" problem of poverty, illiteracy, no work, housing and stupidity. Now throw into the mix some Islamic funamentalism and start counting your blessings.
79. anti-Israel riots in Egypt
Dan ,   Switzerland   (09.10.11)
Shocking throwback to the worst barbarism. Egypt is slipping on a very dangerous extremist path.
80. The end of something called Israel
Mahmoud ,   ALexandria,Egypt   (09.10.11)
one reason of the egyptian revolution was the betrayal of the government . we hate israel and who help it . the message has been sent finally !!! ;)
81. #74
Sam M ,   UK   (09.10.11)
Salma egypt doesn't need 'friends' like you. The economy is in meltdown, tourism has fallen significantly and scenes of these rampaging idiots projects a very bad image of egypt which will further deter foreign investors and tourists alike. With a population expected to reach100 million by 2025 and high unemployment this will do nothing to help the poverty stricken egyptian masses. Radical islamists seem determined to push egypt into another war with Israel and the only losers will be the egyptian people.
82. What happened yesterday is totally wroung.
Egyptian Eagle ,   The Great Egypt   (09.10.11)
Just having a few questions. Do you think that, establishing the embassy in a population area is a good idea? You Israeli's trying to challenge the Egyptian by doing that. You will not getting in a population area, and expecting people will welcome you. No, we hate Israel and we hate your politics in the world. But, that doesn't mean that I'm accepting what happened yesterday. You know why ? Because humiliating you is not by break the international rules, there is other way to do that. And will do that soon
83. Strength
michaelpielet ,   boca raton, Israel   (09.10.11)
Thankfully none of our people were hurt. We have to remain strong and steadfast.
84. Israel is becoming sooo weak
Sharif ,   Ramallah, Palestine   (09.10.11)
compare Israel today and israel in 1967
85. The Microcosm
Adam Neira ,   Melb, Australia   (09.10.11)
This is a microcosm. Egypt has to be included in a regional solution. The people must feel that there are some concrete benefits to having an Israeli embassy in Cairo. The fact that the embassy is not being secured by the Egpytian police or army shows that the lines of communication and trust between the two countries is not as solid as they should be. So the solution is for say ten representatives of Egypt with the consent of the people to be invited to Jerusalem for some discussions about what the future holds. Think "Tent of Meeting" idea.
86. Sorry
Ramy ,   Alexandria Egypt   (09.10.11)
As an Egyptian, I am so sorry for what is happened in your embassy in Cairo. I would like to say to Israeli people that there are many people in Egypt who feel ashamed for what is happened. This is not the democracy which we want to have after almost 50 years of dictatorship..
87. Peace Treaty
Alfred ,   Raanana   (09.10.11)
We see the value of making agreementts and treaties with barbarians.
88. DON'T BE TOO SURE..................#81
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.10.11)
What follows next as it is too early to predict although there is no doubt that the Egyptian economy is shambles. As time goes by,national prestige is what the Egyptians are looking at.They will recover and be independent of vested interest.War with Israel is not important at the moment as you predict.
89. Thanks to Obama.....
Merca ,   Barcelona.SPAIN   (09.10.11)
We will get another radical islamist country in the same manner we got the same in iran 30 years ago thanks to Carter.
