So why soesn;t Turkey apologize for killing the Green motorcyclist killed when he was protesting the Turkish invasion of Cyprus along the Green line in Nicosia? Will Turkey ever apologize to those Greek home owner of Magosa's Varosha district whose homes have been invaded by Turkey since 1974 and they can not return to their legally owned homes? Erdogan proves that in the West’s defense, Israel is the front line. Should Turkey interfere with Cyprus’s gas explorations, Israel will be forced to help defend Cyprus –and possibly Greece- because the gas field is shared between Israel and Cyprus (and possibly Lebanon) and Israel will not tolerate Turkish mischief in the Mediterranean. Period. Should such unnecessary events transpire, perhaps it will become clear to the “chattering class” that in the defense of the West, Israel is the front line.
