61. Turkey used agents inside Israel to confirm identities
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
yeah, they're called liberals who are anti-establishment, anti-IDF, and pro-"Palestinian". They'd sell their own mother if it helped their selfish agenda.
62. #1 - most miscreants and criminals do
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
We wouldn't expect Turkey to NOT MEAN what it says considering the racist agenda its not married to. But Turkey should not test Israel's resolve to its own security and peace, and will fight with all of its resources. Just one of the many reasons why Kuwait withdrew its planned lawsuit over the flotilla, and why so many lawsuits against Israel in the past were rejected outright by the courts they were presented to.
63. #7 - wouldn't work anyway
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
Even if Turk's requested verification by Israel because Muslim courts consider Jewish testimony to be less than that of a Muslim woman, who is less than a Muslim man. So, in essence, they're requesting information from a source they don't value anyway as even credible. It's all for domestic consumption which seems to have developed a taste for crap, since it's been on their menu daily for months now.
64. Israel - give Turkey the names of soldiers...
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
who either are refusniks or provided false information to Goldstone prosecutors on previous IDF actions they were never directly involved in.
65. #14 - we'll start with the "Palestinians"
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
Ankara is wonderful this time of year and I hear Turks might even be able to stand you longer than your other Arab friends. Hint: just don't side with their enemies while they're hosting you.
66. #18 - Palmer report is not worth ignoring
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
The report was based in intl law by a lead who is steeped in maritime law. It seems Erdogan, like yourself, is trying to ignore or change intl law because it doesn't fit your agenda. Luckily, most courts are not filled with rabid, uber-Leftists who use the law, but only when convenient. Hence, the reason past lawsuits against Israel have always been rejected by the respective courts.
67. #37 - prove Israel "knew that"
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
Your ilk have a lot of audacity to claim what Israel does and doesn't know, which is why your world lives day by day in conspiracy theory fantasies. Even if there were no weapons on board, the maritime law of blockades is simple. NO ONE gets by, and trying to ram it is a military act that will draw a reaction. Palmer was very clear of that in his report. But since they did find: 1) flak jackets, 2) envelopes of tons of hard currency, 3) contraband materials like cement, 4) violent people from IHH which support Hamas' war of terror on the Jewish people, the boarding of the boats was, and will always be justified. And Turkey knew that.
68. #41 - are you getting a different news than the world?
William ,   Israel   (09.26.11)
Israel did apologize and offered compensation. IT WAS REJECTED! Erdogan wants (demands) the third requirement which is a complete lifting of the Gaza blockade which the UN deemed legal. If it were just a simple apology Erdogan wanted, this would have been over weeks ago. It seems either your side refuses to report the full story, or you refuse to acknowledge it.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.11)
Really. And you know this how, asswipe? Care for me to recount the numerous ways in which the Belgians collaborated with the Nazis? Do you REALLY want to go there? Didn't think so. Sayonara, asshole.
70. To: No. 14
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.11)
Or perhaps Israel should start kicking out all illegal squatters and aliens, such as yourself. What do you think?
71. To: No. 41
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.11)
Why not offer up an apology for Turkey having aided and abetted an illegal attempt to breach a fully legal and internationally recognized blockade? Aren't you embarrassed enough that the MAVI MARMARA was found to be carrying nothing in the way of the much-ballyhooed "humanitarian aid?" Your country is a fraud. You will soon be kicked out of NATO and will sink back into the mire out of which you come. Good riddance. You people are trash.
72. 69 - Sarah

I do not say that Israel or Jews should confiscate anybody's properties or land for any reason. However the fact is that Starting with Turkey where I am originally from, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and North African countries except maybe Marocco (And this is thanks to some of my relatives who were close friends of the late King Hassan) Jewish properties have been confiscated and Jews intimidated one way or another. On the other hand there are over 1 million Israeli Arabs who take advantage of all social benefits, health care, education as Jewish Israelis, while Mahmut Abbas does not want any Jews in a Palestinian Arab state to be created in WB and Gaza. Who is the real apartheit?

I'd like to 2nd that. Sarah B is great.
77. Can # 37
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (09.26.11)
It's because of arms that the blockade was enacted in the first place. Israel has nothing to prove. A blockade is a blockade and it doesn't matter what you Turks had. You didn't belong there. If Erdogan can't put on his big boy pants then he should have kept the flotilla at home and spared us all the crying and sniveling that we are having to put up from him and so many of the rest of you
78. Amazingly they have forgot to include the most important
Oleg ,   USA   (09.26.11)
figures in human history: 1. G-d himself - for his promise to give this land to the people of Israel. 2. Abraham - as a father of Jewish nation 3. Moses - as a leader who has got Jews out of slavery and lead them to the promise land Without those persons nothing would ever happen in the first place. And by the way this list can go on and on.

to Sarah B. and all those decent people who truly care about the Jewish people. may this be a year of peace, good health to all.
80. #63;William, EXCELLENT POINT
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.26.11)
I don't know why that didn't even occur to me. It's funny when you think about it.
81. To: Herb Glatter at No. 79
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.11)
And a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year to you as well, sir!

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.11)
A very healthy, happy and prosperous New Year to you!
83. Turkey out of NATO?
Spakh ,   Istanbul   (09.26.11)
To those delusional people out there. Turkey is going to be a most important member of the NATO until the end of NATO. Just look at the news, anti-missile shield is being deployed in Turkey. Why? Having the second largest and effective army in NATO after US, with its geo-politically importance, it is just stupid to think else. Dream on.
84. heb glatter / 79
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (09.26.11)

A great and happy New Year to you and family.
88. To: No 78
Andreas ,   Belgium   (09.27.11)
Figures in human HISTORY? Seriously???
89. Turkish prosecutors request
domingo leuterio ,   palm coast, fl. usa   (09.27.11)
Any request by Turkey to Israel should be ignored and remember there's no more diplomatic relationship. Israel has the right to protect itself with extreme prejudice to those who wish her harm with no exception including TURKEY...
90. Turkish aggression and arrogance
Serge ,   Montreal, Canada   (09.28.11)
In a way, this is not very surprising. Many people forget the aggression and arrogance tradition that is being renewed by Erdogan.
