1.4 BILLION Muslims which are 20% of the world's population (2 out of every 10 people), and only 6 arab Laureates: (Najib Mahfooz : Literature), (Anwar El-Sadat, Yasser Arafat, Shirin Ebadi : Peace), (Ahmed Zewail : Chemistry), Abdus Salam (Physics). if you count Obama Hussein Barack (don't know what he achieve), then you will have 7 “magnificent” arab Nobels! "Great" job, arabs. oh, abbas getting one sooner or later, trust me, for Nobel Piece too.
63. Muslim Nobel prize winners in science

That there has been only one Muslim Nobel prize winner in natural science: the great physicist Abdus Salam, who shared the prize in 1979 with Sheldon Glashow and Steven Weinberg. (He was the PhD advisor of the great Israeli physicist and politician Yuval Ne'eman). Salam was a scientist of the highest caliber but was he really a Muslim? Well, Salam was an Ahmadi - a member of a sect that is persecuted in most Muslim countries and was officially declared non-Muslim in Pakistan in 1974. For that reason Salam left Pakistan and never returned during his life. Thus, anyone who wants to believe that a Muslim has won a Nobel prize in science, has to accept Ahmadi's as Muslims. In fact, the original wording of the inscription on Salam's grave in Pakistan used to say "First Muslim Nobel Laureate" but the word "Muslim" was removed on orders of a local official. So here you are: no Muslim has ever won a Nobel prize in science - at least according to the official Muslim view.

Not one of those 10 Nobel Price laureates was born and educated in Israel and not a word that Prof. Shechtman was awarded for his work at the Aerospace Research Labs at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, where he was a part of a team.
