The US doesn't ban them, just requires that they register as foreign agents. Silence is not the goal, the goal is to make sure that the people know that it is propaganda and not a real NGO. Since they are sponsored by governments they cannot be considered as NGOs but PACs and the US has several foreign funded PACs like CAIR.

Naming the "EU - European Union" is not good enough in this case! Hanoch Daum's piece is good, but he should be more direct with the funders inside Europe.
