Israel made a big mistake in allowing these religious parties into the Knesset. They only care about money and power and not the country. That's because they are against the state of Israel even existing. The Orthodox should have been integrated into society a long time ago. It is not enough they do the army, they need to be educated in useful trades and integrate into the job market. No more free hand outs, time they supported themselves.

The Chief Rabbi has to the Rabbis' Rabbi, outstanding in erudition and ablity to relate to the whole spectrum of society without compromising Torah principles. There has been opposition to Rabbi Stav from the start. If necessary they must scrap the 70 year old age limit for becoming Chief Rabbi and then appoint the favourite candidate.
