Marie commented on the case for the first time, saying “I am sorry I didn’t take care of her. I want my baby back. I couldn’t have imagined what he did to my baby Rose.”
Marie refused to respond to journalists who asked her where Rose is presently located and if she was involved in her daughter’s disappearance.
When asked how she was doing, she immediately began crying.
Since the case of Rose’s disappearance broke out, in which her grandfather and Marie’s lover Ronny Ron admitted to murdering the small child, wide searches have been conducted in the entire center of the country. In the meantime, the searches have not yielded any information.
“We don’t think that Rose is in (Tel Aviv's) Yarkon River and even if she was thrown in there, I doubt we will be successful in finding her,” said a police official a few days ago.
In the meantime, a police official also confirmed to Ynet that “Ronny Ron’s polygraph test results strengthen his version.”
The grandfather, who is suspected of murdering his granddaughter Rose, has repeated his version since day one, saying he placed Rose’s body in a suitcase and threw her into the Yarkon River.
Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen held a meeting on Wednesday with the team conducting the investigation and searches for Rose. Central District commander Nissim Mor was also present.
“The required measures are being taken in the investigation and the searches for Rose. The main efforts remain in locating the girl, who according to estimations was murdered, and bringing those involved to justice,” said the commissioner.
