Some 25 soldiers and civilians were killed and 175 wounded in two blasts outside security bases in Halab (Aleppo), in northern Syria, on Friday. The Free Syria Army claimed responsibility for the attack.
State television showed blood, bodies and shattered concrete strewn across a street outside one of the apparent targets of the blasts, a military security building in the northern city.

A reporter on state television showed bloodied human remains in a live broadcast from outside the military security complex.
"We apologise for showing these pictures, but this is the terrorism which is targeting us," the reporter said. A bystander said: "Is this the freedom of Erdogan?"
The blasts were also reported by the Syrian General Revolution Commission, blaming Syrian regime for the attacks that share resemblance to the events in Damascus in January.
