French police arrest 20 suspected Muslim extremists

French police arrested some 20 suspected militants in dawn raids Friday, notably in the southern city of Toulouse where Toulouse terrorist Mohammed Merah operated, a source close to the operations said.

After Mohamed Merah’s death in a shoot-out with police on March 22, Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said investigators were still looking for accomplices. (AFP)
