Price tag vandalism

Some 16 olive threes and 50 seedlings were uprooted in a Palestinian orchard between Nablus and Ramallah overnight on Wednesday. The slogan 'Price tag - Kipa Sruga' was found spray-painted over five barrels in the orchard in As Sawiya.
IDF soldiers called to the scene advised the Palestinian landowner to file a police complaint.

The IDF and Israel Police were on high alert, following the evacuation of the Kipa Sruga outpost.

Daily reports of vandalism were noted on on both sides in the backdrop of the olive harvest. Palestinians and Israelis even blamed each other for faking sabotage in order to gain media coverage.

Three weeks ago, Palestinian landowners were caught on camera cutting olive trees in their territory, outside of the Elon Moreh settlement; they later filed a complaint, claiming the trees were torn down by Jewish vandals from the nearby settlement.
