As air red sirens sounded in the southern city of Beersheba on Thursday night, many residents hid in shelters.
But not everyone felt the need to do so; taking advantage of the situation, thieves broke into a kitchen design store and stole two television screens.

"Even theft has its time and place, and this isn't the time to steal," the store's manger, Eliezer Weiss said. "We have lost our sensitivity, our humanity."
The store is equipped with a burglar alarm, but just as it went off the siren sounded, so the security team's response was delayed.

"When I reached the store I was simply shocked, the store window was smashed. I just can't believe someone would actually exploit this situation to rob the store," Weiss added
Weiss urged other store owners to "Make sure you guard your businesses – no one can be trusted, not even at times like these."
