VIDEO – The ruling party in the Netherlands has voiced its support for increasing funding for the protection of Jewish institutions such as synagogues and schools in Amsterdam.

The party released a statement calling for an additional €200,000 (about $270,000)
of annual funding for security services.
Amsterdam’s Jewish community is reported to spend about $1 million a year on security.
Calls for increased funds for protection come following a report by the Center for Information and Documentation on Israel, which detailed 113 anti-Semitic incidents in the country.
