Sean Kingston to perform in Israel this summer

Leading reggae-hip hop star Sean Kingston is expected to join the shower of freign artists arriving in Israel this summer, with a mid-July performance.

Sean Kingston burst into the music world only a year ago, at the age of 18. His song “Beautiful Girls” hit the radio stations and automatically reached the peak of the American billboards and stayed there for three weeks.

His next two songs, “Me Love” and “Take You There” also scored high on the American and European charts. As a result of the success, an album was released and reached the top of sales charts.

Following the release of the album, Kingston went on tour opening for Gwen Stefani, Chris Brown and Kelly Clarkson.

He is currently going on both solo and international tours and will arrive in Israel on July 15 for a performance at the Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center in Tel Aviv. The show’s producers are presently searching for an opening act.

Kingston, born Kisean Anderson, is a prime example of an artist making it big with the assistance of the site MySpace on which he launched his songs with the hope of drawing the attention of producers.

Two years lapsed from the day he opened his MySpace page and the release of his first album. Forbes magazine named him one of the three top artists in the past year.
