Global honor: A single by Israeli folk singer Asaf Avidan and his band, The Mojos, titles "The Reckoning" will be distributed with the next issue of music magazine Rolling Stone in Europe.
The single will be included in the international edition of the magazine, which is published in Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Belgium, and is expected to reach some 60,000 subscribers.

This is not the first time that the important magazine expresses its appreciation of Avidan: Last year the Mexican edition of Rolling Stone praised the young artists' music and branded him "a new messiah."
"This is a great honor and certainly a positive beginning ahead of 2009, in which we expect many developments in the international front," Avidan and his group said in a statement.
In recent weeks Avidan, 28, has held several work meetings in Europe regarding potential overseas contracts, and quite a few record companies have expressed interest in his talent and unique voice.
