Orthodox Jewish rapper seen filming in Jerusalem's Old City sporting new platinum blond look
Orthodox Jewish rapper Matisyahu
arrived in Israel on Tuesday for a three-day visit to shoot a new music video. On Thursday, the rapper was spotted filming in the Old City’s main tourist market.
Matisyahu, shocked fans in December when he decided to shave off his trademark beard. Now, the 32-year-old has taken to the bottle, sporting a new platinum blonde look.
According to an AFP correspondent, Matisyahu is not only blonde but also dressing extremely casual- wearing combat pants, a brown leather jacket, and open-toed army boots.
Matisyahu and his film crew were earlier spotted filming in Zedekiah’s Cave, an underground quarry dating back over 2,000 years. It stretches under the Old City walls in an area between Damascus Gate and Herod’s Gate.
