Richard Clayderman returning to Israel for 4 concerts

Following his successful Holy Land tour two years ago, French pianist will perform in Tel Aviv, Beersheba, Haifa and Jerusalem on September 11-14.

French pianist Richard Clayderman will return to Israel for four concerts at the end of the summer following his successful tour in the Holy Land two years ago.

 

 

He will perform at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv on September 11, at Beersheba's Performing Arts Center on September 12, at the Haifa Auditorium on September 13 and at the Sherover Theater in Jerusalem on September 14.

 

Ticket prices will range from NIS 199 (about $58) to NIS 349 ($102).

 

 

Clayderman gained international success in the late 1970s and has recorded more than 12,000 pieces, sold more than 85 million albums and won more than 340 gold and platinum albums.

 

His famous hit, "Ballade pour Adeline," which was released in the 1980s, sold 22 million copies in 38 countries.

 

In Israel, Clayderman is expected to play his most popular works, including the 12-minute "Titanic Symphony" and music from famous films like "West Side Story", "Schindler's List" and "Harry Potter", as well as his famous romantic repertoire -"Ballade pour Adeline," "Love Story" and "Don't Cry for Me Argentina."
