On the occasion of the release of her new album, Israel's Queen of Mediterranean pop visits Ynet to sing a song and discuss the future.

Sarit Hadad, Israel's Queen of Mediterranean pop visited Ynet's studio recently, to mark the release of her new album named for herself, "Sarit Hadad", which has already sold 30,000 copies.

She sings in many languages, including English, Arabic, Georgian, Turkish, and Greek. In the above clip of her new single "Anta Dayman" she sings in Hebrew but the chorus is in Arabic.

 

Hadad stayed just long enough for an exclusive interview.

 

When asked about her feelings after the recent killing at the gay pride parade in Jerusalem and the Palestinian baby killed in the West Bank, she said that her motto is "live and let live", and that she hopes that gratuitous love and not gratuitous hatred will flourish in Israel.

 

She is already working on her next album.
