I'd like to see the questions the Guardian posed. You can do a lot of spin that way, e.g., "Do you think the indisciminate killing of Lebanese women and children is a proportionate or disproportionate response to the kidnapping of two soldiers," vs. "Do you think the assault on HEzbollah strongholds is a prop or disprop response to their existential threats to Israel?" The Guardian is so predictable. Anyway, I'm actually surprised at the numbers here. I would have thought they were much more anti-Israeli and anti-American (in Iraq) than they actually appear to be.

The BBC has started to show it's bias alot more in recent days just look at the main page for the middle east crisis, they're accusing Israel of using Human shields in Gaza now. What they haven't reported on is the Pro Israel rallies that have been held throughout the country but the Anti- Israel rallies get the attention.

If you follow the British press, you will see that they can't get anything right on any issue or government, even their own. They got bogged down in factionalism, distortion, false reporting and agenda-flogging a long, long time ago. Facing the reality of British 'reporting' is important. I believe that if Israel had more large-breasted women soldiers in skimpy uniforms, the British press coverage would be much more favorable.

Israel should take no heed to any poll regarding Israel or the Jewish people. Nowadays, a poll in England or anywhere in Europe for that matter, might as well be taken in downtown Islamabad.

Actually, the first thing that came to my mind was another recent poll: - Britain is the European country where non-Muslims think best of Muslims - Britain is the European country where Muslims think worst of non-Muslims You guys are pathetically deluded.

Sadly it is the case that there is a portion of the British population that seems to think it is fashionable at the moment to speak out against the British, the American, and the Israeli governments...without actually taking the time to understand what they are speaking out against... But I just thought I should make something clear....the fact that 61% of those who voted in the poll were against Israel's actions does not mean that 61% of the British public holds such views. The people who voted in the poll would only have been people who read The Guardian (which is mostly students and so-called 'intellectuals') and that certainly is not the entire population of the country. You'll probably find that 61% of the country did not even vote in the poll. I certainly didn't.
