Israeli official confirms responsibility for Syria attack

A "senior" Israeli official corroborated the reports that Israel was responsible for the overnight attack on the Jamraya military research center near the Syrian capital Damascus.
"The attack took place near the Damascus airport and targeted Hezbollah-bound Iranian missiles," the unnamed official told the French agency AFP. (AFP)
